Resolution Law Group, plc Launches Manager and Employee Training Services
McLean, Virginia, September 25, 2003,
The Resolution Law Group, plc, a provider of legal and consulting services
to small and mid-sized businesses in the Washington, DC metropolitan area,
has launched new management and employee training services in partnership
with Hf Associates, a leading HR Consulting firm based in San Jose,
California. The new program offerings are based on proven, interactive and
cost-effective training workshops that can be tailored to a company’s
philosophies, requirements and culture. The program offerings include ‘off
the shelf’ programs as well as those specifically customized to meet the
client’s organizational requirements.
RLG new offerings include the following workshops:
This one-day workshop is designed specifically for managers. Participants
learn about major employment laws, sound employment practices, identifying
and preventing harassment in the workplace, managing performance, and
discipline practices.
This three-hour workshop teaches participants to recognize the types of
conduct that may constitute harassment, assists participants in developing
skills to prevent harassment and deal with it when it does occur, and
educates them about Company policies.
This half-day, manager-focused workshop addresses the legal issues
presented by employee requests for leaves of absence – how to effectively
communicate company leave policies, properly identify and handle FMLA
leave and ADA accommodation requests, and effectively communicate with HR
concerning employee absences.
These
courses have been delivered to companies, large and small, in diverse
industry segments, including brokerage and financial services, software,
technology, professional services, healthcare and non-profit associations.
